The Bell has a charming atmosphere and unique decor that adds character, but it can feel drafty at times. While the food is tasty, some items on the menu were a bit obscure. a lovely spot, especially with the welcoming staff making the visit enjoyable.

My stay at The Bell was exceptional. The Classic Double Room was beautifully decorated, featuring a wonderfully comfortable bed and a spacious, well-equipped bathroom. The staff were not only friendly but also exceedingly efficient, assisting with all my needs promptly. The quality of dining exceeded my expectations. the dinner menu offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes, and the breakfasts were particularly notable, with fresh options available.
Some noise from the pub during late hours.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the Rosemary Lane Day Fair and the Music Festival, both awesome events. The place made a perfect base to explore the charming towns nearby, like Tunbridge Wells and Rye. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were cozy. Just a heads up, avoid rooms at the front if noise bothers you.
One drawback was the bed being too soft for my taste, which led to some discomfort, but this is personal. My friends were fine, though!

I absolutely loved the whimsical decor with bowler hats as lampshades and fascinating book pillars stretching from floor to ceiling! The personalized welcome for our furry friend was such a sweet touch, complete with treats and local walk suggestions. Plus, the outdoor fire pit made for perfect cozy evenings under the stars!
